This is actually my first practice at acrylic. This design is from a Pixiv.net artist. I can't find link for the original, but it is slightly different. The original was more of a chibi version of what I did. The original was a watercolor painting I believe. I alter some of the colors too.

The mistake for this painting was that I was using two different brands of acrylic. One was a left over 50 cents acrylics off walmart, the other was the 5 dollar "Basic" brand. I though it didn't matter so I use little bit of cheap acrylic along with some normal ones. The cheap acrylic gave off a matte like finish while the normal was more gloss. From a far you can't tell, but up close there are random glossy areas on the surface.

I mostly use 14-18 flat pallet canvases because they are cheap, 3 for 4 bucks :D
